The data flow
What StackSignal adds
The intelligence layer Close doesn’t provide.
Close gives you close is a sales crm built for inside sales and smb teams, with built-in calling, email, and sms. Here’s what changes when you route leads through StackSignal first.
Score the pipeline you already own in Close
StackSignal reads your existing Close leads, scores each against your ICP, and writes the fit score and the reasoning behind it back to Close custom fields — so dead pipeline and strong-fit accounts nobody is working surface to the top.
Buyer model seeded from Close Won/Lost
On first connection, StackSignal reads your Close Won and Lost opportunities and trains the initial buyer model from your real outcomes — no manual export.
Fit score as a Close Smart View
Once ssos_fit_score is a Close custom field, build a Smart View filtered to high-fit leads. That becomes the priority queue your reps work first.
Step-by-step
How to connect Close with StackSignal.
Connect Close and create custom fields
Authorize Close in StackSignal settings. StackSignal creates the ssos_* custom fields on the Lead object via the Close API.
Seed the buyer model from Won/Lost
Click Analyze CRM. StackSignal reads your Won and Lost opportunities, maps them to leads, and trains the first version of your buyer model from your historical conversion data.
Score the accounts already in Close
StackSignal scores every lead in your Close instance against your model and writes ssos_fit_score, ssos_detected_stack, and ssos_score_reason back to each record.
Work the ranked Smart View
Build a Close Smart View on ssos_fit_score to surface the highest-fit accounts — including strong-fit leads nobody has touched and dead pipeline worth re-working.
